Draft at Village Tap, served in a tulip glass. Menu says 2015 vintage.
Black with brown edges, initial thin skim of surface foam, recedes quickly with no lacing.
Aroma is pretty coffee forward with some toasted coconut and chocolate in the periphery.
Taste is much the same, rich dark roast coffee dominates, with background accents of toasted coconut.
Chocolatey with a light cinnamon presence, maybe from the coffee/coconut interaction.
Fairly smooth and lighter bodied for the style, very drinkable with well hidden abv.
One of the better Temperance beers i've tried.
