Lighter black body with tan foam that settles into a ring up top. Almond, coffee, cherry, biscotti and bourbon all detected in the nose in that order of intensity. The taste really surprised me in how warm and deep it was. Great impact from all the flavors in the smell, especially the almond and cherry, plus throw in some leather, molasses, and dark chocolate. Wonderful, sweet, then boozy, then bitter, finishing rich. Drinks really easy given abv, really well balanced. The wife like it

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a 12 fl oz can on March 29, 2019. An Italian cookie stout with almond flavor, tart cherries and freshly roasted Ipsento coffee. A unique and balanced take on the idea of a pastry stout.

Released 2/9/19; drank 3/3/19 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big tan head; nice lace.
Dark roast coffee bean, mild habenero, tart cherry, mild bourbon heat & faint oak notes in the nose.
Medium thick, sticky mouthfeel.
Tart cherry & mild dark chocolate flavors up front; mild bourbon heat, mild burnt caramel & faint oak notes on the finish.
A lot going on, but not over-the-top; a drinkable, interesting dessert beer. I'd have another...
