Pours a slightly hazy bright golden color with an orange hue. Produces two finger white head that dissipates slowly.
Aroma is of juicy orange, floral, touch of dank, lemon. Little bit of bready, slightly sweet malt.
Taste up front is of floral and juicy tangerines. Middle of the mouth brings some very slight breadiness and yeastiness, along with the floral, tangerine, slight lemon, and some dankness. Fairly dry beer to begin with, but the finish dries out the beer a little more and brings some lemon peel and slight resin bitterness layered over some juicy tangerine and dank flavors.
Mouthfeel is a light medium body with a fairly clean and very nice drinkability.
Although I still think their Mosaic Madness is better, this is still a solid session IPA. I feel like they could get more out of this complex hop, but still nicely executed.

Solid session beer. A tad too bitter for me, though.

24 fl oz. 'BIG A$$ CAN', no canned on or freshness date present. My first beer from SlapShot Brewing Co., out of Chicago. A 'Session India Pale Ale' per the label, 5.50% abv. 48 IBU.
Poured into a clear balloon snifter.
A - It pours a juicy golden orange body, perhaps just a shade darker than expected, with one finger of frothy bubbly white head. Lots of scattered strands of lacing. The second pour yields an even murkier, juicier looking orange body. Looks excellent.
S - A very fresh, fruity, & floral aroma. Lots of fresh floral herbal hops, some minor bready pale malts, and perhaps some earthy pleasing house yeast aroma in the back end. Suggestions of citrus fruits like lemons and oranges.
T - The taste follows the nose: juicy fruity hop content. Very fresh, herbal, & floral. Citrus fruits: oranges, clementines, lemon peel. Bready pale malt, and some earthy bready yeast content. Very well-balanced.
M - Extremely juicy, light, and easy-drinking. Excellent carbonation. Supreme drinkability.
Overall, a very nice low abv IPA from SlapShot, and an excellent introduction to this brewery for me. Very glad to have gotten this fresh and locally. Looking forward to trying more from these guys.
