It pours a very slightly hazy copper coloured body withe the most resplendent, proud, full foamy white head a good cm thick and mostly minute bubbles
If you've been to an operating microbrewery the aroma will not be new to you
pewter and brewers mash with slight gooseberry hints
Big rich malty flavours with a real plummy fruitiness that warms to a lively bitter finish.
Good solid mouthfeel that avoids being heavy going thanks in some parts to a near perfect carbonation.
Just a fantastic best bitter, not far off a well poured cask pint in fact
joy in a bottle.
