I was given the option of carbonated or nitro and I had the nitro. Black with tan head. Toasty, with some coffee, tobacco, chocolate. Bit of american hops. On the sweet side, but with a decent bitterness. Smooth.

Note: I think I have seen this on Nitro at the brewery, as I typically can't stand that pouring style I didn't try it then, but found it on a CO2 tap at Hideaway Pizza. As such this is a review of the CO2 version, glad I got a chance to try it without Nitro.
A: Pours a dark brown, nearly black. With some red highlights around the edges. A one finger beige head forms with good retention and lace left behind.
S: A simple but enjoyable nose that showcases the malts. Roast, coffee, chocolate are all there. A baked bread aroma as well. Very nice.
T: Like the nose, roasted malts, chocolate, and coffee. Baked bread, and a very nice roundness makes all the malt flavor warm and inviting. A touch of bitter chocolate/roast lingering.
M/O: A full body with good carbonation. This becomes ultra smooth as a good Oatmeal Stout should be. Really easy to drink, I can come back to this a lot.
A simple Oatmeal Stout, and is pretty spot on for the style. Especially in the mouthfeel. The malt flavors are a bit simple but really welcoming. Looking forward to having more when I travel through town.
