Pours out to a murky brown amber color and a thin head that stays around and tries its best to produce some lace. It really *looks* cloudy and very undrinkable. BUT that's where the yuck factor stops hard. Aroma is spicy (mostly cloves) and mildly hoppy with some munich malt and odd smokiness peeking through. Flavor is richly malty and hoppy with some belgian yeast spiciness and pleasing alpha acid bitterness to balance the malts. Mouthfeel is light to medium and CO2 is low (could be the growler fill effect on carbonation). After the first glass I was ready for another. And another. Nobody else would touch it (their loss = my gain). Can't let growler beer sit around to get flat and stale. Overall a very good beer for a session. Just don't look at it.
