This is a review of the Nitro version. They did not have a CO2 version, and I was not informed until I saw the pour. Something I would have avoided if I new so. Will certainly update when I get an good CO2 pour however.
A: Pours with that cascading nitro head effect. After it settles, that perfect, artificial two finger beige head forms. With good retention and lace.
S: Very neutral in the nose. Some caramel malts and sweetness is all I get. Leaves me wanting so much more.
T: Like the nose, caramel malts and sweetness is the show. Cloying in that regard. Try as I might, I can't pick anything else out of this intentionally dumbed down brown ale.
M/O: Artificially "creamy." I have never understood the attraction to this? It is like air...I choked this down, but not something I want to come back to in this form.
Yep, the perfect bland and artificial Nitro beer. Really hoping I can get this in CO2 the next time I come through town. This seems like a style that would work with Pecans. To bad they had to ruin this. Oh well...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
