In what world is a gose supposed to come out like a rank milkshake of beer such as this? That this is acceptable to the brewer is baffling, even more so to the customer.

I'm not a sour guy and really didn't like this at all. I rated it at what it's average score was at the time I reviewed because I don't think it's fair to slam it when I can't stand the category.

Loaded with diacetyl and baby diaper enterics. Second time I've had this beer and it was way worse the first time (riddled with baby diaper, so much so that even my non beer drinking father thought is was awful).
This beer needs some serious process development.

On draft at AZ Wilderness.
Hazy yellow body with a thin, wispy collar. Huge funk aroma, with lemon juice, light spice, sea salt. Light in body and refreshing, despite the intense sourness and aggressiveness. Well done indeed. AZW is doing some nice work.

A great part of the starting lineup at Wilderness, the Gose is exactlty what I want in a lightly sour beer. Excellent drinkability with flavor and tartness to match.
A- A super clear gold, nice bubbles and good lacing.
S- Smellls of funk and fermented fruit.
T- Taste smooth as F***, makes you think about chugging down the entire glass in one go. Sour with a light sweetness, seems like it was made from apples with an almost cidery flavor.
M- Thin, light, refreshing, tightens the mouth in a good way.
O- A very happy, drink on a sunny day type beer. Great beer for having a few, helps lift flavor profiles of other beers after it. If it's available you should at least get a taster will most certainly be worth your effort.
