Granola Stout

Crazy good granola taste that brings along some standard grain malts. Maybe granola is just the basis from brewing darker, malt style beer? This beer could have used more head and lacing but it's dark black color did just fine.

Appearance: Arrives fudge brown with a modest cap; a few strands of lace

Smell: Granola tones of toasted grains, nuts, vanilla and maple

Taste: Roast, chocolate and granola flavors with the maple and vanilla flavors building; modest bitterness in the middle followed by a moderately sweet finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: An interesting twist to the pastry stout phenomenon; this works
