Our beloved Brown Ale brewed with whole pecan pies (you heard that right) and dry hopped with local Arizona pecans and real vanilla beans. We threw loads of Grade B Maple Syrup in there too. It's a real treat and best enjoyed at around 50 degrees. So, order one and let it sit while you enjoy another beer. Then you'll get the full magic of Picacho Pecan Pie Brown Ale.

On tap at Hunahpu Day. Served in a wine glass.
Appearance - Murky brown. Small white head, but not much.
Smell - Smells of lots of sugar and brown malts. Some nuttiness. A little oak, but not much of a barrel presence.
Taste - Tastes of rum now. More oak. Quite sweet. Brown sugar and caramel. A little nutty in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Sweet with medium low carbonation. Medium body.
Overall - The description sounded delicious, but didn't pan out, really.

Would like a little more barrel notes or flavors, very hard to pick up.

At Huna '15 kind of a let down. Huge sweetness.

Really thin, this missed for me. Didn't get any barrel, the pecans were oddly missing, just didn't work.
