Poured from draft into a short pint glass it was hard to tell anything about the head before I sat down*.
The beer was very inviting with this deep gold haze. A smell of lemon and hibiscus kind of reminded me of Saisons I have had, for good reason. It comes off as a promise to be refreshing and it is.
The flavor is reminiscent of a sun brewed tea; unsweetened but with lemon. The carbonation was light to moderate so it had a good mouth feel that made you want to come back for more.
It was a great afternoon beer to have!
