Always like a nice Brett IPA, the eponymous yeast offering such a refreshing, and often unpredictable, change of pace. That rings true particularly in the nose of this brew, which melds floral and tropical notes amiably indeed. Palate is where you get a bit of that phenolic Bretty bite, almost to the point of being a bit off-putting, but it all manages to come back together to remain pleasing. Juicy body on this one helps offset the bite/funk as well. Overall, while not necessarily the best Brett IPA I've ever had, but one that succeeds in offering a different take on a familiar style.
