Had on tap, then bought a growler.
Pours a hazy golden color with soda-like carbonation that dissipated quickly.
Aroma is a nice balance between the funk of the wild ale and spice of the saison. Some lactic notes meld with barnyard funk with kisses of lemon and clove.
The beer starts off with a moderately sharp lactic bite. Tons of citrus notes with a nice prickly carbonation. Then mid sip, with some lingering sourness, the funky saison character plays through. The finish is dry and crisp.
Overall, this is one of the best AZW beer I have had from them. I don't buy growlers, but I splurged for this one! It paired well with their Belgian fries with pulled pork and cheese sauce. It gets a 96/100, especially for a 5.5% local AZ beer!
