I give ya 3.5 stars for creativity. Salty beer sounded interesting, and it was. Just not something I can stomach much of. Fun to try though.

perhaps my favorite of the recent round of these beers to come around! its about as well done as such a thing could possibly be, and it represents one of my favorite of their beers to date! the coffee is awesome in this low alcohol tangy slammer. its strongly earthy with dark chocolate and minor smoke notes, and i think that levels out some of the clean bacterial acidity. in the taste, i am reminded of the way the italians sometimes take espresso, with the lemon zested right into the shot, that emulsified oily crema and the bright citrus are what i get from the lacto and the coffee together in here, its so good! bitterness from the coffee is also nice, but its proportionality in the beer is amazing. it must be blended in, cold brewed, post fermentation, its so clean and distinct on its own, and meshes so well with the delicate gose. not too sour, the salt really amplifies the wheat and the coffee together, and overall we have an incredibly unique and well executed beer right here, one of the best coffee sour beers i have ever had, and a deadset winner. these guys are positively killing it!
