On tap at Lord Hobo in Cambridge, MA.

This one pours a pretty dark brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing at all.

This smells like sour dark fruit, chocolate, smoke, and molasses.

This is an interesting concept, and I'm glad it was done. It's not entirely successful, though. The flavor is thin and falls of fairly precipitously at the end, and the actual stout base is a touch buried by the funk and acidity. There's old grapes and cherries, and dark chocolate (but not enough of it).

This is very light bodied and pretty thin, with a little bit of a too-high kick of carbonation at the end.

I really like the idea behind this, it's just a touch flawed, though.

The color is near black where light passes along the edge of the glass. Modest head but it does leave a half blanket of lace.

The smell is rich with semisweet chocolate and brandy like alcohol. Mild blackberry in the background. Very attractive.

As rich is the smell, the body is thin like a Guinness with an elevated carbonation level. This is the only negative aspect of this beer. The flavor is chocolatey with a sour raspberry kick. Long aftertaste.
