Light and refreshing with notes of lemon on the nose and taste; herbal notes on the nose become more prevalent in the taste for me. Just as the herbal takes hold, a return of a citrus hits - general citrus and vaguely similar to a citrus wine. It flashes, demurs, and then the herbal bitterness regains traction, starting grassy and rolling over my palate with a little more vegetal edge.

This fits in the world of other Nelson hopped beers I've had, though it seems a tad more citrus-forward than many. Still quite enjoyable, especially as the bitterness builds up as the glass empties..
