No canned on date. Poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint.
A: Dishwater tone of lemonade with 1-finger off-white foamy head with average retention dots of lacing.
S: Minty, pine aroma with tinges of lime, pineapple, and woody herbal components as well.
T: Flavor is underwhelming with mostly soft lime, pineapple, and herbal, woody, slightly floral characteristics. Yeast esters are high with a Juicy Fruit gum quality in the background. Bitterness is low.
M: Soft medium bodied feel with low carbonation and full finish.
O: I think this aroma and flavor combo would do better in a West Coast IPA style IPA rather than in a NEIPA — higher bitterness and carbonation and lower yeast esters with a leaner body and dry finish would yield a more drinkable beer all-around.
