Ok, this is a bit of a weird duck...
Hazy NE IPA look (orange-yellow), check.
Decent lacing, check.
Creamy feel, check (steel wool fuzzy carbonation)
Sweet “lactose-like” flavor, check.
From there - it gets weird, mainly due to the (to me) wonderous Sorachi Ace hops.
Nose is perfumy floral, with the sweetness coming through to aid that. Flowers and a big bubblegum scent.
Sweetness up front, but skirts being too sweet. Lemongrass brings a brief orange bubblegum flavor. The Sorachi itself was oddly more pronounced cold, but it’s grassy influence does hold the end.
Intriguing and a tad weird, but intriguing enough to get me to buy another at some point, if made again.
