Crooked Run Fermentation

The beer has a hazy appearance with a reddish brown and a slightly pinkish beige topping of loose foam. Head retention is good and lacing is slick. It's aroma has a solid citrus and floral hop presence over light malt. These hops don't add much in the way of flavor however. I get an interesting mildly sour/tart cherry flavor note over a sweet vanilla and almond pastry like malt base. Hop flavor and bitterness are very distant and the finish is light and clean. Mouthfeel is medium with balanced carbonation. My overall feeling is that it seems like two beers in one. IPA in the nose and sour on the tongue.
