This Thai dessert-inspired Berliner is made with a huge amount of mango, rice milk, and toasted coconut!

Draft at Crooked Run, beertender recommendation. Cloudy golden pour, sparse head. Light coconut aroma, tropical notes. Taste adds notes of lime, coconut. Smooth, creamy. I like it ( and I'm not a sour fan)

16oz can into the Avery "Barrel Glass"
Look: Pours a bright, pale, opaque yellow. The off-white head is a flash in the pan, gone in a second. No lacing to speak of :(
Smell: Rice/rice milk, coconut, mango. Smells very sweet.
Taste: Follows the nose, rice, coconut, mango. Fruity and quite sweet. A bready note of rice lingers on the tongue.
Feel: Thin body, low carbonation. Sweetness is slightly sticky on the palate.
Overall: An interesting beer. Fruity, light. Lots of coconut/rice. Worth a try but I'm not certain I'd get it again.

Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date printed on the bottom. Served in a stemmed Stange.
Appearance: The bubbly, half finger head disappears almost immediately and doesn't leave behind any lacing at all. It's a murky, milky, pale straw color.
Smell: It's a faint but pleasant aroma of plain yogurt, coconut milk, cinnamon, and fresh lemon zest.
Taste: It's a sweet, refreshing flavor of coconut milk, mango and a hint of lemon sourness.
Mouthfeel: It's moderately thick and the sweetness gets cloying but not overwhelmingly so. There's almost no carbonation.
Overall: Pretty much a sweet rice pudding dessert in a can. It tastes very good but the texture is quite bland and it doesn't look that great either. 16 ounces to share between two seems about the right serving size to really enjoy it, just like sharing a real dessert!
