Light brown and creamy head. The beer itself is a dark chocolate syrup dark brown with a syrup like texture. The smell is mostly a good strong mix of the chocolate like coffee and cocoa with a slight sweet vanilla note contrast with the rest of it. A good whiskey note comes out as it warms. The taste is indulgent. The lightly bitter coffee is the strongest note and the sweeter cocoa blends well with it. There is some light coconut flake note but is largely invisible. The whiskey notes come in the middle and get stronger through to the finish.
The feel is good. It’s a heavy body but a thin texture that resembles coffee. There is an acidic feel to it and tiny carbonation to it.
