A classic low ABV English style ale, fermented slightly warm and made with honey-hued English pale and caramel malts. Light chocolate and plum notes in this little 3.5% beer.

On cask at brewery:
Dark but obviously clear, the creamy beige head fell to a sheen leaving dots that stuck fairly stubbornly to the glass. The nose was quite light, but a nuttiness like that from an oily nut and some burnt toast came through with a hint of dark cherry. Taste was a little more dark toast than burnt, but with some charred edges. Fruit aspects were a more orange pith than cherry and slightly more prevalent than in the nose. Smooth cask pour had this feeling like a cold brew coffee, though the taste was definitely a medium robust brown ale.
