Appearance -
Pours a thick, 3 finger head, off-white, golden/amber colour, cloudy and opaque, lively effervescence.
Smell -
Lots of hops & tropical fruits, passionfruit, mango, nectarines, apricot most obvious. Honey. Floral elderflower notes.
Taste -
A biscuit base on the first sip with a big citrus hop character, which follows through. A little bit leafy, with flavours that follow the nose; apricot, mango & honey.
Mouthfeel -
Lively effervescence like pins and needles on the tongue. Clean and slightly creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate body. Highly drinkable and refreshing, if a touch fizzy.
Overall -
A very refreshing brew. Looks great on pour, plenty of tropical flavours to enjoy on the nose and taste. A great, full flavoured take on the style, and refreshing on a hot summer's day.
