12oz bottle pours an orange-brown color with a small head of light tan-colored foam that disappears. Smells of toasty bread and a faint note of hops. Rich toasty flavor that blooms into a really awful and very artificial feeling toasty note that pretty much ruins the beer. Lightly grassy hop flavor and minimal bitterness. Subtle sweetness, fairly bubbly mouthfeel, nasty fake toast flavor lingers as an aftertaste.
I don't know what the hell they did to this beer to make the malt flavor taste so fake and synthetic. Feels like some crap I'd expect from a macro brewery. Will steer very clear from this beer in the future.

From a bottle from a Beer of the Month package. Pours a lovely amber with a grassy aroma. Light for an amber. Not overly malty or hoppy. Touches of brown sugar and bread. Decent summer beer.

Appearance: Presents a clear, light amber-tan body with a medium-sized, off-white head.
Smell: A rather modest aroma - gently toasted grains with a thin, crisp veneer of light brown sugar. Subtle floral, herbal hop element.
Taste: Meager maltiness with just a slim, scant bready, toasty vibe and a very light taste and sweetness akin to light brown sugar. Just a touch of floral, herbal (tea-like) hop character and bitterness to balance. Dry, thinning albeit clean finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body, it's got that near-watery thinness that seems to be the brewery's schtick. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Serviceable, light-leaning though ultimately very forgettable lager.

A- excellent head retention, plenty of carbonation and very happy with how the beer settled into my glass. The pour really raised my expectations immediately. Beer was clear and a nice amber color.
S- smell of straw, and was crisp. Not much stands out but a bit fruity and clean.
T- dry, some tiny bit of bitterness, popcorn with a light butter. No hops. It’s very good with a hint of wheat. Nothing pops to an extreme outside of popcorn.
F- crisp and light bodied. A bit coarse with some stinging carbonation that didn’t bother me. It’s not complex, but a solid amber lager.
O- pretty good beer. I enjoyed it and think it would do well on a hot Saturday afternoon after some yard work. Crisp, refreshing and light.

Poured from a pint can into a nonic.
Pours light amber with limited head and retention. Limited lacing as well.
Toasted and biscuity caramel malts on the nose with just a trace of grassy and earthy hop.
The flavors follow the nose, with a little bit of a harsher pale malt undertone that arrives in midstream to bridge the gap between the toasty malty start and the grassier finish. Fairly nondescript overall.
The brew is nicely carbonated and relatively light bodied for the style. Has a nearly crisp finish.
It's a fairly drinkable brew but unremarkable.

Poured from a bottle. Golden to amber in color with a small head. Smells of malt and caramel. Flavor follows the smell but feels muted. Light bodied and lacking in flavor.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, amber color with golden highlights and a small, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel and floral notes. Sweet caramel and toffee. Minimal bitterness.
