Creamy Peanut Butter Ale

I respect this local brewery for trying something unusual, and true to form, it really does smell and taste like peanut butter. It doesn’t look bad, either. But this is just not for me; the taste is disagreeable and I would need a lot of convincing to try another beer of this type.

Not a fan. Peanut butter graham cracker aroma is a little over powering. Affects the flavor.

 

 

The pour is tan colored. There is no date on the can. The taste is peanut butter & water. Cheers! B-

 

Pours medium amber color, clear and bright, with little to no carbonation and a one finger head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is all peanut butter. Taste mirrors aroma, with slight notes of toffee and perhaps a touch of vanilla at the end.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of creamy peanut butter, caramel and toffee. It really tasted like creamy peanut butter. Rich and tasty with no bitterness. Smooth and easy drinking.

From a twelve ounce brown bottle, this beer is a clear copper color with a slim white head. Lots of carbonation. The aroma is full peanut butter...it smells like the peanut butter inside a candy bar, and is reminiscent of the peanut butter cookies that my mother made when I was a child. The taste is just slightly sweet, with a creamy mouthfeel and continued peanut-butter flavor. Not bad.

Flavorful beer. Good taste.
