Unnatural beer color...it is sort of a tepid pink-purple color with a foamy white head. The aroma has blackberry notes and not a lot else going on. The taste is slightly sweet, but not overly done...carbonation...and plenty of blackberry flavor. Interesting and drinkable. Medium body and okay, for a fruit beer.

Don't generally enjoy sweet blonde ales, but can say this beer is as advertised. Is a purplish color with a slight head. Taste almond and vanilla though think the vanilla overpowers the blackberry flavor. When think of blackberry desserts, expect a bit more sour. However, it is not sold as a sour so can't ding for wishing it was. If you like sweet and light, probably will enjoy this.

Aroma is blackberries, malts and mild sweetness. The flavor is blackberries, malts/grains, fr, a hint of tropical fruit and a mildly sweet/smooth finish.

12oz bottle. Strange appearance. Poured a light purple (like a Gatorade color) with a small, fizzy, off-white head of foam. No lacing. It smelled of blackberry, hints of vanilla and toffee. Sweet fruity taste with some tart blackberry and mild vanilla notes.
