Amber in color with a fair amount of sediment within the body. There’s a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering three quarters of the top. The aroma is of maple syrup, smoke, and caramel. I’m tasting maple syrup and caramel. The mouth is lightly sticky and moderately carbonated.

16 oz can.
Appearance. Clear, dark reddish-brown with a modest head.
Aroma. Smoke and smoked meat with faint spices.
Flavor. Smoke dominates but a lightly spiced pumpkin ale is also evident.
Overall. A bit too spicy.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, amber color with a khaki-colored head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled strongly of maple, smokey notes, pumpkin and caramel. Very sweet tasting with a big dose of maple. Somewhat smokey with some caramel.

12oz bottle poured into a goblet
A- pours a deep amber color with a ruby hue, one-finger foamy off-white head reduces to a ring around the edge
S- smoked malts up front give an aroma reminiscent to smoked pork, as well as some campfire smoke. The maple comes through with the malty base beer, giving aromas of maple syrup pancakes
T- sweet and malty up front with a dominant note of prune, quickly followed by a maple sweetness at the mid-palate that tastes like pure maple syrup. The smoke starts to emerge from the maple, adding that smoked pork flavor, as well as more campfire smoke. The finish brings out a caramel sweetness, that compliments the maple, almost like caramelized pumpkin. Lingers of maple and light smoke
M- medium body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel that finishes creamy and velvety
O- I wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but the maple and smoke compliment each other well. It was also a good idea to use actual pumpkin and not just the spices, as I think that those would have hindered the maple and smoke

What an obscure but tasty beer! Smell is meaty and inviting flavors mostly smoke, cinnamon, and just a twinge of maple. Not getting much sweetness so some would complain but it works making it taste more like a beer! Not sure I would drink multiple but a great one and some for sure!
