This velvety-smooth medium-bodied porter is brewed with chocolate malt, undutched cocoa powder and finished with natural strawberry flavor. Notes of milk chocolate and cocoa linger throughout and mingle with the strawberry for the perfect balance in this guilty pleasure. We were happy to brew this in collaboration with St. Louis based company Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Co., who is celebrating 40 years of business!

3/3/23 Poured from a twelve oz. bottle from Washington Beer Shop
Virtually no head or lacing. Collier is a dark, dirty tea color.. Not very attractive.
Aroma is certainly strawberry up front. Leah can get the milk chocolate.... Not good milk chocolate....
Taste pretty follows the aroma with a slight drying at the end like a porter.
Carbonation bite is distracting and not appropriate.
Nice try on the marketing and cheesy beer label, but this not close to being a good beer.

O'Fallon Brewery is a strange place. Their beer always either hits the nail on the head, or misses entirely and smashes their thumb. This would be closer to the latter. A pleasant if not rosy nose gives way to an immediately overpowering, artificial tasting and chemically feeling strawberry flavor. The chocolate is buried under it. It's there, but it's too scared to even begin to take a peek under the cascading tidal wave of strawberry taffy flavor. Coffee and roasted malt attempt to hold the line in the background, but I may end up giving the rest of these to my girlfriend if she likes them, along with their cousins the peanut butter ales from the Cookie Tin twelve pack. Should have just gotten more Dad's Oatmeal Cookie. That one found the nail's head.
