12 oz. bottle, no bottling information. Another new pumpkin beer to me from O'Fallon, seems like these guys are really PUMPing them out lately.. get it? This one brewed with spice & chai tea.
Poured to a clear unbranded snifter.
A rich impenetrable brown-black body with a finger of soft creamy tan head. I would call this opaque, for sure. Appears sticky & well carbonated. Lots of good spotty lacing on the glass. Looks nice.
Aroma is putting me off a bit: ginger / chai is apparent, giving it a pretty sweet syrupy cherry sort of aroma. Not pulling too much cinnamon from the nose; it has been mostly taken off by the aromas of ginger / cherry / cola. Cocoa & a floral, powdery vanilla makes a brief appearance.
Taste follows: the ginger imparts a pervasive cherry-cola flavor that is hard for me to get around. Vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, forget about it, there is none of that on the flavor sad to say.
Feel is sweet, syrupy. Definitely a sipper of a beer. Medium-bodied with (good) lowly carb.
Overall, a bit let down, not nearly roasty enough for my liking. Was expecting a far bigger depth and range of flavors from this one.

Dark brown in color with a fingernail of brown around the rim and covering half of the top. I smell chai tea, cinnamon, lactose, and ginger. I’m tasting chai tea, ginger, and clove. The mouth is busy and warm with the heavy spicing. It somehow works much better than I would have guessed. The flavors and aromas do compliment each other.

12oz bottle. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of chai tea, pumpkin, chocolate and roasted malt. Nice chai taste with coffee, chocolate and roasted malt.

Aroma is chai/mint, malts and a hint of caramel. The flavor is chai/mint, malts, a hint of chocolate, mild caramel and a mildly sweet/very acidic finish.
