12 oz. bottle, no bottling information. An interesting specimen from O'Fallon, acquired a single bottle as part of a mixed six pack from the local Binny's. No real style definited aside from "Malt Beverage" "Hand Crafted Flavored Beer" 5 IBU.
Poured to Camp Crystal Lake stemless tumbler.
A - Pours an atomic green, same as it appears through the clear glass bottle. Finger or so of green-tinted white foam head that falls to a ring quickly, leaves some stickiness on the glass when swirled, but no lacing. There is actually some small sediment visible in the body which makes for quite an interesting appearance. 4 for the cool color, but they don't tell us what was used, so it's probably regular ass food coloring.
S - Aromas of dusty green apple, bit of sour, white sugar, has a bit of dusty beer malts present. Not a bad aroma, smells like normal American adjunct lager more than anything.
T - Flavor is of sour green jolly rancher candy, although admittedly the sour fades away quickly, leading into some salty sour gose-like qualities, which is then in turn followed up by some traditional grainy malty "beer" flavors.
M - Smooth, sticky, sour, easy-drinking; has some pucker on the finish. Malty & bready enough on the end to remind you that you're drinking actual beer.
Overall, quite an interesting effort from O'Fallon; I recall there were a few others in this series that I will have to go back and try.
