Dark brown hue; nil for a head; almost looks like sweet tea with the head-absence. Caramel and nuts on the nose. Somewhat thin up front, a developing and evaporating creaminess to the body; medium bodied is being generous. Roasted malts prevail, with a twang of caramel and toasted wheat bread. Flavors slide across the palate; minimal aftertaste; a bit too carbonated; nothing fancy going on here, passable brown at best; lacks the winter-seasonal spices for a true to form holiday ale.

Clear brown in color, small white head that doesn't last, sweet roasty nutty aroma. Nice roasted malty nutty flavors, medium body, light but creamy mouthfeel, nice lasting finish, a little light but has some good flavor.
