Pours a deep amber with a nice white head. Leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass. It has a medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel. It brings some malts and breadiness with a bit of brown sugar sweetness as well. With a hint of spices it makes a balanced, drinkable tripel.

"Best before 3/1/25"; drank 8/5/24 @ Pokemon Communion.
Opaque orange appearance.
Nice off-white head; nice lacing remained.
Banana, mild caramel & soft wheat notes in the nose.
Medium thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Cream, banana & mild peanut butter flavors up front; faint clove notes on the finish.
A balanced, tasty tripel. I'd have another!

500ml bottle with a best before date of 08/15/2022 (American calendar…) poured into a Guinness pint.
Looks is a dark Amber color and leaving a two inches white head fading reasonably quickly.
Smells of citrus, and tropical aromas.
The taste is quite expectedly for a Belgian Tripel clovey/coriander and some hints of pear, brown sugar.
Moutfeel is rather medium-bodied, the 8% ABV is again well hidden as many Belgian tripel in this regard.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed this Tripel, I can’t remember ever having a bad one from this country up north anyway. It’s as often a nice combination of some fruity ingredients and sweetness with a more bitter finish and some astringency. I’d buy if given the chance again, although in all honesty this is a pretty rare beer, which I found in my go-to beer store here.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Bright clear mid/dark amber, pours with a 3mm fine-bubble white head. [ps @ +15mins, holds well, forms lacing on the way down].
S- Quite mild, I just seem to get some spicy notes.
T- Ooh nice. I took this out the fridge 1/2hr ago to lose the hard chill. It has that lovely rich (but not sweet) puddingy + ABV% aspect. Like when you score and hit the sherry hot-spot in a cream trifle.
F- It's clearly a higher ABV% beer, it isn't hiding that, and yet is comes over as beautifully balanced and elegant. This for me is a beer for slow-sipping, it's too big and too good to rush.
O- Surprisingly really darn good. Ie it goes beyond what you might expect of a rather low-key labelled Belgian Tripel, and then much more... A full-on yet refined and superbly balanced beer. One for slow-sipping on a cool evening.... I'd very happily drink this again.
Review #1898/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed! ... nice, the Ingredients are limited to water, barley malt, hops and yeast - simple and it shows the quality of the brewing here....
A solid 500ml bottle BB: 15/09/2022 Euro 3.95 Bought from BeerMania/Belgium as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

Picked up this tasty beer on a recent road trip to Brussels.
50cL bottle with a best before date of 23/10/2020
Poured into a tulip glass, lovely marigold color with about a FB of off white fine head which resolves quickly leaving scant fine effervescence.
Smells of tropical fruit esters, citrus, honeysuckle. Taste is classic belgian tripel with sweet malts up front, spicy clove/coriander and hints of pear, brown sugar and balanced with a subtle bite and lifted by copious effervescence with a fair amount of astringency for such a sweet, malty beer.
Moutfeel is medium bodied, creamy with well disguised abv.
A really solid triple, reasonably priced - definitely worth another road trip to stock up on some more!
