Olhão 17/7 2016. 33 cl bottle from Continente Modelo Supermarket. Transparent label with outline of woman making it look kind of campy.
Pours hazy pale yellow with a white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite sweet and wheaty. Banana, vanilla and lemonade. Tart notes.
Medium strong carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor has a medium strong sweetness followed by a tart sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is short and a little bit watery.
Fairly run of the mill wheat beer.

330 ml brown glass bottle coded “F147IB1 19/08/2025”
7,50€ @ Museu da Cerveja, Lisboa, Portugal
Cloudy deep golden-orange beneath a short head of white (dirty bar glass?). Fruity with wheaty malt in the aroma. Lots of apple in the taste with little banana and just a touch of clove; lots of yeast. Somewhat tart and mildly bitter. Medium-light in body and crisp.
