Growler procured from AJ's Beer Warehouse.
Pours a very dark glossy black, with a full creamy looking 1.5 inch head, and a good amount of web-like lacing.
Smells like roasted malt, chocolate, toothpaste, mint leaves, and menthol.
This tastes exactly like it bills itself, but still falls very short. I would like more chocolatey sweetness, because as it stands, the mint is slightly overpowering, and there is a big menthol and toothpaste presence here. It's off-putting. There's some leafy bitterness as well. The more I drink of this, the more the mint gets gross, honestly.
Medium bodied, creamy and full mouthfeel. There is a low amount of carbonation.
This just straight up didn't work.
