On cask at The Old Toad in Rochester, NY.
Pours out a light orange-ish amber, with a small, half inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells insanely fruity, like tropical hop juice. Pineapple, mango, grapefruit, and passionfruit galore.
The taste is much the same. When a bit colder, 50-55 degrees or so, it has a tiny bit of bitterness, with all of the aforementioned fruit flavors, but as it warms even further, it becomes even closer to just pure hop juice. Delicious. Galaxy puts out some great casks.
This one is fairly light bodied, with a slightly thin mouthfeel. There is a typical cask level of carbonation, it's there, but mild.
This is now two casks from Galaxy for Andromeda, Simcoe first, now Zythos, that have been amazing. Really promising new brewery.
