On tap at Swiftwater Brewing Company in Rochester, NY. Guest keg.
Pours a dark, deep black, with basically no head and basically no lacing.
Smells pretty nice, some sweet and slightly sour cherries, with a good amount of chocolate.
This worked out better than I expected. The cherries aren't really that sour at all, there's maybe the slightest of sour twangs. They feel more sweet to me. Luckily this remains a stout and doesn't become a sour. There's some chocolate. The roasted malt character is very little here, somewhat disappointingly.
This has a pretty creamy mouthfeel, with a medium body, and a lower level of carbonation.
Galaxy is so hit or miss, luckily, this is a hit. It's not perfect, far from it, but it's still pretty tasty.
