Undated can, but social media posts would seem to indicate a 3/8/19 date. (C'mon Galaxy, we've been through this before, with Andromeda! ;) ) New formulation, at 7.2% abv.
Almost-clear amber, with 1 finger off-white head.
Smell is... similar to mead - fermented honey - plus a hint of frozen, then thawed grapes, and a hint of bread crust.
Taste is light pine, caramel malt, carmelized green onion, slight fruitiness (pear + white grape, as with sweet white wine) , and a bit of timothy-like grassy flavor. (Bite into a fresh stem ;) ). Moderate bitterness throughout, & lingers a bit.
Feel is light-medium, sightly creamy, with fine sharp carbonation tingle.
Overall, a nice changeup from sweeter , fruitier IPAs . Worth a try. Originally gave this a 4 for flavor, & overall, but as I drink more it gets better. >4.25 The whole is better than the sum of parts. :)

16oz can in a (Galaxy) nonic pint glass. This "retired" beer is currently, according to the website, available on tap at the brewery. I purchased the 4-pack on 3/15/18 at the brewery. This batch comes in at 7.2% abv. Here goes...
Pale orange colored pour, cloudy with steady small-bubble carbonation. The 1-plus F of white froth retains well and leaves sticky lacing and a constant film.
The second consecutive day for a new IPA with nelson sauvin hops, perhaps? There's no description on the website so I'm winging it: white wine grapes, some alcohol, solid malts, slight onion, floral.
Slightly caramelized malt backbone with a dose of floral and light fruit hops.
Solid feel, medium body. Lingering hop finish, minimal bitterness. Sticky. Mellow.
A good effort from a joint that might benefit from some distribution. I'll continue the support when in the vicinity.
