all of the beer in here was so much better than it was the first time i visited, nice to see a place mature like this, all they had in here was really good. this is a pretty straightforward pale ale with mosaic and azacca as the hops, a nice balance of the two appear in the aroma and the flavor, and this is something for all day drinking, not too bitter or strong, so it really sessions well. quite a bit of haze to this, but a tall white head too, looks kind of awkward in the pint, far less refined than i usually like my pale ales to be, but this is whats on trend right now, and i can sympathize with trying to keep up. fortunately, aroma and flavor are on point, i get cut pineapple and white grape, lemon and orange, and a fresh herbal nature, this seems brand new, almost too new, amazing freshness in the glass here! a little chewy in texture for a second, by my palate quickly attenuates and i find some glide after a pull or two. fuller cereal malt body, wheaty, with the fresh juicy hops rising well above it, still nicely balanced, and not very bitter at all. a good showcase of these hops working together, and a beer that would be a total winner with a little cleaning up...
