From a 16oz can. No dating but they just started canning this two weeks ago, so quite fresh.
Absolutely clear* gold , with moderate creamy(texture) white head and lacing, that lingers for some time.
*(If you put a mirror on the other side of the glass, you could confidently use it to shave. It's that clear. : ) )
Aroma is as to be expected, with crackery malt, day-after-cutting hay (fresh, still a little moisture) , and a floral/herbal-tea-with-honey aroma, from the hops. They don't list the malt or hop bill, but guessing Saaz + something else (Tettnanger?) with the latter being the larger part. ???
Flavor is similar to aroma , with the malt being more predominant at first , followed by the grassy & floral elements. There is a very faint lemon zest flavor that comes in mid to late. Lingering light bitterness on the tip of the tongue.
Very fine carbonation comes in at the back of tongue and throat at first contact, and finishes on the tip of the tongue. Medium body. A little less carbonation than is usual with the style, but not flat by any means.
Overall a good one, that I would gladly have anytime. Might be especially good on a warm summer day.

a pretty classic, if a bit generic, pilsener. its golden from the tap with exceptional clarity, but doesnt hold much of a head, and only the periodic bubble breaks free and rises up to the surface, a little under carbonated it seems. good aroma though, fresh enough crackery pils malt and familiar lager yeast, maybe fermented slightly on the warm side, there is a light fruity note to this that doesnt seem to me to be from hops, and maybe not quite as dry as it could be, but it smells appealing. the flavor is about the same, not particularly unique in any way, and less dry than i like this style to be. its also got a little less of the classic saaz hops thing i usually look for in the czech types, just a faint grassy finish to this, not as bitter as i am used to in the style, but i do like the flavors as they all come together in the end. medium bodied for the style, and again a little less lively on the bubbles than would be preferable, but simple lagers like this are tough to do, and this one drinks pretty nice on the whole. good effort, not quite all the way there...
