May 2017: 330 ml can, as Bevog Deetz Golden Ale, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.8%. Golden colour, small white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity and piney hops. Light bodied. Dry flavour, again fruity and piney notes, with a distinct bitterness from start to finish.

Pours a clear, light golden coloration with a big, frothy head. Smells very pleasantly of citrus aromas with a hint of grains. Taste follows the nose with a crisp and fresh lemon zest taste supplemented by a certain grainyness and just a tiny hint of malt, with a light bitterness. Body is little bit thin and watery, but it's really not too bad. Besides, this is a Kölsch, after all, so it's very much part of the style xD. The new cans actually say "Golden Ale" instead of "Kölsch", my guess is that they had to change it after getting into trouble with the Kölsch Convention. Which is ironic, because this is probably the best damn Kölsch I ever had. It almost reminds me more of a Pale Ale, with its intense citrus character. I think it's pretty funny when people claim that this makes it not a Kölsch anymore. I disagree, it just makes it a GOOD Kölsch.

Clear straw color with soapy white head. Aroma is hoppy and has also some honey hints. Like a chamomile tea with honey. Taste is light, grainy, like a pilsner but more hoppy. The hops are floral and citrusy. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Medium body with a good amount of carbonation. Really tasty but also refreshing and easy drinking.

Yellow-greenis, pale apperance. Lightly fizzy. White foam, decent, one finger.
In the smell you can feel the hop, not too strong. Not very fresh, maybe.
More like a kölsch in the taste, with the hop present, but not invading, more malty.
Quite short aftertaste, malty, light hop.
Quite dry, dinkable, and pleasant.
