Dark brown, one finger foam, dirty white.
Strong smokiness in the smell, light toasted, and a green grassy touch.
Again a lot of smoke in the taste, well paired with toasted and dry fruitness. Some dry chestnut.
Grassy aftertaste, almost balsamic, and again smoke.
Pleasant.

With carob and spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla).
Dark brown with a small off-white head, nice and sticky.
Nice smoky smell, something like pastrami or smoked ham. Rich salted nut, too, like extra toasted walnut and caju. Faint chocolate, light caramel. Rich smell.
Nice sweet smoked malts up front, with hints of smoked cheese and bacon. A bit of sweet smoked apricot and prune, a faint citrusy zing underneath, bit of extra caramel that prolongs into the finish. Rich sweet-and-salty nuts, a bit of toast, a generous dusting of woody spices (cinnamon, faint pepper, raw vanilla bean). Hints of dried tobacco. Pretty light finish, with a light citrusy note mixed with the smoked malts, just a very bit dry and bitter, with the faintest bit of hop, but still present.
Aftertaste has rich smoke, nut, spices, a touch of orange and apple peel, a lingering sweet vanilla note too (that wasn't really there in the taste, nice). Medium body, medium carbonation.
Great refreshing smoked beer, lots of different stuff going on here. Pretty cool, no, scratch that, really cool.
