Remember our Imperial Raspberry Stout? We couldn't help ourselves, and of course we simply had to put some of it into barrels last year.
We have added a new dimension to the delicious and rich chocolate biscuity base, by aging this lovely beer in bourbon barrels. The flavours are booming and exploding, and the raspberries really work crazy well with an added layer of bourbon magic. We managed to make an already amazing beer, even better!

Copenhagen 24/12 2024. 37,5 cl bottle with a cork stopper from Meny, Rotunde, Hellerup. Burgundy label with a little strange square made of black doodles with a gold, white and golden dot.
Pours opaque and thick with almost no foam. No head. Only a paper thin rim of foam running along the sides of the glass.
Aroma is medium intense but gets stronger as the beer warms up. Dark roasted malts mingling with sweet berries. Prominent presence of dark alcohol. Caramel and roasted malts. Hints of raspberries. Sweet boozy Bourbon in abundance.
Low carbonation. Thick, viscous, oily and fat. Flat texture and mouthfeel.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet iith a liqerish boozy and highly searing undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet with a notable touch of alcohol.
A fitting way to celebrate Christmas.
