A very good brown ale - nutty in aroma and taste (but not overbearing). Pours a beautiful deep brown. You can tell the hops are there and there is a nice carbonation to this one, but it is still smooth. A little caramel flavor/smell too.

Medium bodied with a slick palate. Very nutty and creamy. Slight chocolate and a nice hop balance. Extremely sessionable and well balanced.
The pour is a dark brown and sticky lacing down the glass. A very well crafted beer that I highly recommend if you come to western PA.

Pours a deep opaque brown, off-white lacing for a head.
Smells of toasted biscuit, brown sugar, hints of molasses, some maple, and a slightly woody hoppiness.
Flavor is of toasted biscuit, caramel, molasses, and a woody dryness in the aftertaste. Some cocoa in there too. Finishes with a dry hop bite.
Medium body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
A very solid and drinkable brown ale with a bit more punch in the flavor than is typical. Worth trying and very decent.
