Light orange, a hazy IPA. This has a lot of the usual tropical fruit smell and taste, overall pretty good. Pineapple and guava, orange peel and other citrus elements. Not too rich but still a full bodied IPA. Pretty good.

Poured a cloudy yellow-orange with one-finger head that quickly died and left lace ring down glass. Aroma is mildly sweet grapefruit and nice floral citric burst. Beer is fuller-bodied with a tropical fruit-esque sweetness and pleasant, mildly bitter acidic hop bite with clean finish thanks to something like tangerine or papaya for a sweet touch.

Pours a hazy sunset orange color. A moderate frothy head retains well and yields splashes of lacing around the glass.
The nose is quite fruity. First impressions are of tropical fruit, mango, papaya and banana. Other fruit aromas include peach, melon and oranges. Some earthy aromas include light notes of floral hops, while the malt evokes honey.
As expected as evidenced by the aroma, the taste is fruity and juicy. It opens quite sweetly with honey malt and creamy oats flavors that are quickly surpassed by fruity hops. Flavors of mango, banana, peach, apricot and orange juice concentrate. Although there is not much bitterness, the herbal hops provide a piny, sticky and resiny spice that balances the sweetness.
Medium to full bodied with a sticky, chewy and slightly creamy mouthfeel. The finish is resiny and dry with a touch of bitterness. The predominance of citrusy hops coats the mouth with a pleasantly stinging zest.
Nice Doubke NEIPA that is on the sweet side yet with a nice resiny quality.

A: a cloudy grapefruit forest color with a large white head.

S: peach, apricot, orange blossom, and citrus peel.

T: lightly fruity with a fairly heavy malt flavor. Light tangerine and floral notes with a hint of spice, and some earthiness. Finish is some fruit.

M: medium light, moderate carbonation, and slightly dry finish.

O: this beer is all over, lots of interesting flavors coming out. Plus their can design is on point.

Hazy golden color with some floaties and a fluffy white head. Some dank hop aromas and a significant malt note as well, the dank hops move forward on the taste, with tangerines most notable, as well as the malt component. A nice drinker, if a bit by the numbers.

Pretty nice offering. It has all of the attributes but the taste is a bit boozy. I get a vodka like flavor during the swallow which detracts from the overall experience. Good but not great.

Poured from 473ml can. This can was not dated.
A: Pours a slight hazy yellow gold with a medium white head/nice lacing.
S: Not much of a nose ,some wet grass that is it.
T: Not boozey at all for 8.2 mild hop bitterness on this one but nice.
F: A pretty clean IPA medium body but a lite finish.
O: For a Imperial at 8.2 it is easy to down.

Can dated 12/10/18 into plastic cup (hey, I'm on vacation and it's the best I can do). Pours a hazy deep amber with an extraordinarily long-lasting off-white head. Initial impression is a juicy citrus bomb - grapefruit, pineapple, mango, orange, and maybe a touch of lemon, all riding on a nice caramel malt backbone. Mouthfeel is sticky, smooth, and thick; carbonation is perfect. Finish is smooth and slightly bitter.
This is my first beer from this brewery, and I'm mightily impressed!

Purchased in the Pellvetica can with a gorgeous bear designed by Steve and Sandy Pell. CollectIve arts wins yet again with beautiful can art. Will this one growl contentedly? Let us find out....
Poured slow into a tulip refrigerated 473mL can from the Jan 10-2019 batch. Excellent collar and great efferversence here. Minimal sediment but again i poured it slow to avoid it. If you prefer full sediment look recommend a pint glass with full pour and quick finish. Rich collar lasts well in a light gold slightly hazy pour.
Nose is very rich here of grapefruit and pineapple overtones with subtle grasses.
Taste is quite light for a Double with fruit base of pineapple, light wood, grapefuit and peach.
Feel is quite smooth with light aftertaste and excellent effervesence finish. Surprisingly bubbly for an IPA.
A nice find here but a brewer who rarely disappoints!

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation along with lots of small particles floating in suspension. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving some wisps of bubbles on the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit and passionfruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but is a little stronger, starting out with flavors of grapefruit and lime and finishing with passionfruit and hints of pine. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There are some hints of crispness.
O: This beer has an interesting mix of flavors but really sets this apart from others is its drinkability—no traces of alcohol whatsoever are perceptible.

473 ml can served cold into a tulip. An LCBO purchase for $4.75 CDN. Canned January 28, 2019. This might be version 2 as it only has Simcoe and Amarillo hops listed, no Citra and Galaxy.

Appearance - hazy bright golden color with more than two fingers of brilliant white fluffy head. Great staying power, lacing the whole bit.

Smell - plenty of tropical notes, orange, grapefruit with pineapple and passion fruit aromas delight the nose.

Taste - tropical and juicy, orange and nectarine flavore dominate, some bitterness from the grapefruit and hints of cantaloupe and melon round out the tropical experience. A touch of booziness on the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - medium to heavy body, slick and a touch syrupy with lots of carbonation to balance. Astringent spiciest lingers on the tongue, showing off some booziness.

Overall - yeah, the kings (or queens) of the IPA in Ontario have done it again, this time making a delicious ramped up NEIPA full of hops, fruit, balanced and yet dangerously drinkable. Stacks up really well with Ransack, as well as some of the other ipa's in the IPA series. A little pricy, but worth it.

Opened: 2/8/19

New England style chunky haze. Foam, gold, lace...all that +. A lively center with an eye of energy.

Sour citrus, tropical blend, golden sunset style aroma.

High toned and sour style citrus hop complexity in the taste is heavily layered. Bitter and sour earthiness is pretty bold as well. Sour and sweet grapes with a tangy bitterness backdrop.

A medium to heavy bodied feel, thick, smooth with some juicy, yet dry tones that make it classic NE style with maybe a bit more alcohol heat and dry bitterness associated.

Overall, a beast in complexity and vibe. A bit bold and harsh around the edges with some very intersting aspects.

Slightly hazy, transparent golden color with tight white head. Good retention, with sheets of lacing.
The aroma offers candied lemon, lime, sugar cookie, cannabis, honeydew melon, and a bit of pine.
Tastes of candied lemon, lime, grapefruit zest, sugar cookie, honey, cannabis, honeydew melon, green grape, and pine. Dry and clean with only a faint hint of bitterness.
Medium-bodied, well carbonated, smooth and crisp.
An extremely pleasant and drinkable DIPA with a great hop showcase!

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a yellow-orange color and a very cloudy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, very long-lasting head. Average lacing.

S: A very nice aroma of hops, citrus fruit, malt, pine, and tropical fruit.

T: Tasted of a hint of pine resin, a lot of hops (the dominant element), some citrus fruit (tangerines, mainly), a bit of malt (barely present), and a decent shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, grapefruit). For a New England IPA, this is a pretty hoppy flavor - not that it's a bad thing. The hops are given solid support from the fruit, making for a solid flavor.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a dry, sharp finish. Medium-bodied.

O: A solidly made NE IPA. Worth a try.

Taste of citrus, tropical fruit with a real nice finish of citrus and a bit of pine. Very smooth with good feel and overall, yet another highly enjoyable beer from our friends up north. Cheers!

So this stuff pours a beautiful hazy yellow with a finger plus sticky white head that leaves thick rings of lace behind as it slowly settles with amazing retention canned on 12/10/18. 4.5

Smell is guava, tangerine, pineapple, blueberry, and a hint of white grapefruit. 425

Taste is sharp and juicy guava, blueberry, tangerine, pineapple, and some grapefruit bitterness that lingers on the tongue for awhile after each sip. 4.25

Mouthfeel is bigger than medium, soft on the palate, a touch sticky not dry, and at 8.2% ABV it leaves its mark, but still drinks easy enough. 4.5

Overall I am digging this rather bold NEDIPA out of Canada, I really think for a shelfie this is some quality suds. Cheers all and enjoy your weekend. 4.25

DDH 8.2% DIPA featuring Citra, Simcoe, and Galaxy hops, and different art on each can in the 4-pack (I grabbed two); 11/8/18 canning...

Medium-gold color and hazy with two fingers of ivory foam on top... On the nose and palate, a citrusy blend of fruits without being particularly tangy or sharp - the brighter fruit impressions of lime, grapefruit, and lemon are moderated by softer fare such as sweet pine, dank white grape, pale melon, and kiwi... Medium-light feel, moderate bitterness has a nice lean feel, mildly sweet, with a drying finish of wine grapes and lime and grapefruit pith...

Can art included a "horned god" figure with forest creatures, a jungle scene with a black panther and a pale python, what looked to be a stand of trees, and - randomly - an astronaut...

Moderate head that fades to rim bubbles and film. Nice thick initial ring of lace, spots thereafter. The color whitish light amber. Very cloudy.

Lots of pine resin to the nose. Faint milkshake-like pale malt.

The malt is brief but provides a full body. The carbonation is also elevated. But tale of the story is the strong bitter hop bite which dominates from mid-taste to the substantial aftertaste. Close to extreme, particularly in the swallow.

Can squired on pre release day Nov 9 at the brewery.
Pours a pale very slightly hazy yellow/straw with golden tone; good 2-3 finger white head. Aroma intoxicating over ripe citrus - orange, mango - tropical with sweat undertone.
Taste sweet citrus - orange, pineapple, pine notes with hoppy bitterness on the end.
Medium full mouthfeel, though as warmed seemed to lose its initial nice carbonation, thinning out a bit. Quality.

Pours a uniform lightly hazy straw colour with a small active head, fades to little quickly; some lacing during drinking. Aroma is a nice burst of tropical fruit & hops upon opening. Taste follows nicely with a good burst of tropical fruit lasting through the sip while a bite of grassy bitterness enters later. There is a touch of sour in there as well, almost tastes like grapefruit. Feel is smooth & relatively full with good carbonation. It seems this is IPA#5 reincarnated with an extra hop which will be rotated as this becomes part of the regular lineup. This one has citra, simcoe & galaxy, canned Nov 8 2018. Something doesn't quite match #5 (maybe nostalgia?), either way this is a very nice NE DIPA. Pricey at 4.95, but worth it to have a few.
