Appearance - Pours a pale straw with four fingers of bubbly white head.

Smell - biscuity and grainy malts, lemon, apple, grassy, leafy, and earthy hops, and earthy yeast.

Taste - Biscuity and grainy malts upfront followed by the grassy, leafy, and earthy hops. The lemon, apple, and earthy yeast come through next and finish the brew off.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Finishes crisp with the malts and hops lingering.

Overall - A sessionable brew that is quite refreshing. This brew is nicely balanced between malt and hop and makes for an enjoyable brew.

Pours an almost clear straw/yellow colour with1-2 fingers white head. Aroma of pale malt, slightly crackery, and a touch floral and grassy.
Tastes of cereal grain, floral hints, almost absent of any hoppy bitterness - mild at the finish.
Somewhat dry but very smooth on the palate - easy drinking and refreshing.

473ml can - a collaboration with BC's Four Winds Brewing, not sure about the significance of the name.

This beer pours a clear, pale golden yellow colour, with four fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly fizzy dirty white head, which leaves a bit of streaky and sudsy lace around the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of gritty and grainy cereal malt, baked red apples, petrol fumes, and some leafy, weedy, and grassy green hop bitters. The taste is grainy and biscuity pale malt, a muddled pome fruitiness, mild gasohol, and more earthy, herbal, and grassy hoppiness.

The carbonation is adequate in its palate-pleasing frothiness, the body a so-so medium weight, and generally smooth, with nothing really getting in the way of a swell time at this particular juncture. It finishes trending dry, the malt leveling out, while the noble hops exhibit some lingering mettle.

Overall - this is a very agreeable version of the style, nicely balanced, and easy enough to put back. Not sure what hop and sour-happy Four Winds added to this, but it makes for a nice, light quaff at home on a day where I'd rather not be out and about, if you know what I mean.
