Deep dark brown with a modest head. Plentiful spots on the glass.
Smooth mellow Porter aroma. Plenty of chocolate with a semisweet touch.
Strong alcohol presence with a decent carbonation level. Not as rich as some strong ales. The taste is darker to match the color but isn't an after dinner sipping beer.
