Modest head; no lace. Dark brown color.
The smell is low key with the highly toasted malt dominating. Light alcohol.
Creamy body with little carbonation. The alcohol again dominates with a brandy-like presence. Very smooth without a long aftertaste. A snifter beer. Think of sitting by the fire with a pipe.
