Notes via stream of consciousness: So what do we have here? A double IPA with Galaxy and Mosaic hops. Sounds great! It's poured a muddy, "milkshake" of a golden body beneath a two-finger thick head of white foam. The aroma isn't that bright but it's pleasant with some resinous notes ("dankness") and a kind of generic 'tropical' character. On to the flavor then... as usual the hop flavors are much clearer. That happens with most beers, but especially with double IPAs. I'm finding mango, peach, papaya, berries, orange, passion fruit, guava, apple, and a little bit of pine. The malt is basic, golden and lightly sweet. Unlike a lot of double IPAs it's not malt heavy, nor does it appear to be that bitter. There is some hop bite to it though. I guess this is a kind of double "juicy" NE IPA. Is that on the can? Did I miss that? No, there's nothing on there but that's what I'd call it. In the mouth it's medium-light in body but with a little more feel to it because of the extra proteins. It's smooth with just a gentle zestiness on the tongue sue to its fine-bubbled, moderate carbonation. Overall I'm pretty happy with this. The balance between sweet, bitter, and "hop bite" acidity is great; and the combination of the fruity hop notes are fantastic. Ahh, I almost forgot - the head held quite well and it's left some really nice lacing about the glass. I don't normally go in for the cloudy appearance but seeing as how that's expected this scores a 4.25 out of 5 for appearance. Well done!

Canned 11/15/19
Pours a nice foamy frothy head, moderate retention, decent lacing hazy cloudy pallid yellow color
Nose starts with citrus but then big pine and dank onion, garlic, spicy, light creamy malt, cereal grain and chalky
Taste again starts with tropical fruit and citrus, then pine and big onion again, dank garlic onion mosaic, mild bitterness, little pithy, chalky mineral and wheat, little watery
Mouth is med bod but feels thin, med carb no alcohol
Overall again mosaic ruins a beer, although this felt thin watery and chalky too

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 25 MAR 2019
Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, guava, mango, peach), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, guava, mango, peach), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here.
