The black color with a big, beige head. The aroma of milk chocolate, cocoa, and banana spices. A bit too much for me. Moderately sweet, malty taste with a light, roasted bitterness at the end.

16 ounce can.
Canned 02/13/20.
Brewed by Collective Arts, Waunakee, WI in collaboration with Southern Grist Brewing Co. Nashville, TN.
Moderate pour yields a one inch tan head over a dark brown body with a little lacing but loads of chunks.
Bananas? Probably.
Nose of cardamom, cocoa, and vanilla.
Taste of bananas, chocolate, vanilla, and pistachio.
Nice feel, a bit silky.
Overall, a complex and very busy party in your mouth!
If you're looking for a pastry stout, this one's all for you!
All the things, indeed!!
Cheers!!!

Poured a cloudy, dark-brown body with one-finger khaki head that died quick and left lace patches. Vanilla, nuttiness, hint of banana and touch of cream/lactic quality as well in aroma. Medium body, slightly sticky, creamy, nutty, with a nutty dryness on finish after you get some vanilla, possible banana, smidge of chocolate sweetness along with a touch of heat.

Surprisingly light colored and clear, much more of a dark, nutty brown than black. Decent head production and OK retention. Quite a bit of sediment (possibly spice) at the bottom.
Wonderful nose, similar to a chocolatey cream soda. Chocolate, cream, banana, cola, nuts, vanilla.
Sweet, nutty, and thickly flavorful on the palate. Cola, prune, chocolate, cardamom, banana, cream - really, the can doesn't lie, in this case. An absolute ton of flavors, but they come together in a very harmonious whole. A touch drily spicy, which is perhaps the only detractor, with cardamom lingering with a cinnamon/nutmeg-like flavor, and hints of licorice.
Smooth and creamy; easy drinking.

Too big for a normal milk/sweet stout, so I poured this into a snifter.
The appearance was a semi-ruddy dark brown close to black color with a small yellowish to almost eggshell white foamy head. Some concave lace.
The aroma had the banana to creamy sweetness up front. Some vanilla to pistachio nutty sweetness secondary. Milk chocolate and sweet coffee whiffs. Super mellow cardamom notes.
The flavor definitely leaned into the sweetness. Earthy cardamom tried to push it into a super subtle spicy tone, ultimately, it doesn't.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under. Good carbonation. Subtle stickiness. Finishes with some sticky banana to milk chocolate and a little bit of earthiness.
Overall, kinda odd for the style with the cardamom which makes it somewhat earthy and dry. Pistachios are so low key but it's one I'd come back to.

Pours brown with a 1/4 inch tan head. Heavy lacing to the end.
Aroma of chocolate and vanilla immediately after opening. Also molasses, coffee.
Taste follows nose: chocolate, vanilla, molasses, coffee. Sweet for a beer.
Full bodied, light carbonation. Sweet finish.
One of the strangest tasting beers I've ever had but it's pretty good!
