The pour is too orange for my liking, indicating malt, West Coast style. And it is indeed quite malty, but first you have to get by the putrid nose. A foamy head remains as ornament. Very awkward tasting beer this one is. The malt doesn't kiil it, but the citrus mix (which is very strong, in a bad way) with it just doesn't work for me. Boozy aftertaste, as you would expect from a triple IPA. This was sadly sold as a four pack, so I am stuck with another three. Not among CA's best.

Pours cloudy gold with a small, flash in the pan head. Pineapple, stonefruit, mango hop notes in the nose. Clean bready malts in there too. Tropical, citrus hops explode in the first sip. Layers of bitter hops mix with a light malt ballast. Alcohol is very discrete for the ABV. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with light carbonation. High bitterness and lots of floral and tropical hop notes in the everlasting finish.

Another fantastic IPA from Collective Arts. Redolent with juicy hops and way too drinkable for the high ABV. A must try.

Everything you like about the dank, citrusy, tropical Collective Arts IPAs is cranked up to 11 here, Spinal Tap-style, but it's so deftly balanced that you're not going to register the 10% alcohol at all. Dangerous. You can't really dust for vomit.
